Why is my store called Shipwreck Boutique? Well, I started collecting glass on the beaches of Lake Erie the summer of 2017 and have been hooked ever since. I've literally spent hundreds of hours beachcombing over the past year and a half. After doing research, I found that Lake Erie is the resting place of hundreds of shipwrecks. Fragments of beautiful tumbled glass and pottery often wash up on the shores of Lake Erie. The glass and pottery range from 50-200 years old. This has lead to my creation of almost 500 pieces of jewelry, sets of lights, and mosaics. I pride myself in providing people with high quality, yet affordable pieces.
